The International Association of Shrine Taprooms consists of various Shrine Clubs located in Shrine centers around the world - You must be a member of a chartered Shrine Club to be a member of this Association.
The Association is formed for the following purposes: To promote and explore local, regional, and international craft beverages. To promote acquaintances, friendship and fellowship among the members of various Clubs throughout the Shrine To promote home brewing among those Clubs desiring to do so. As a means for members to explore their hobby of home brewing through the promotion and education of brewing beer / wine making / distilling / and other related activities and to increase the awareness of the quality and variety of homemade beverages such as, but not limited to: Beer, Wine, Liquor, Cider, Mead or Soda. To exchange ideas, practices and methodologies of home brewing. To engage in social activities focused on homemade beverages. Education in the process of making and refining homemade beverages. To promote the hobby and enjoyment of home brewing. To promote the responsible use and enjoyment of homemade beverages.
